College Courses for High School Students (Grades 11 & 12)

We have three dual enrollment programs with local universities. Students in good standing can speak with their counselors about eligibility to take a course each semester at Susquehanna University, Lackawanna College, or to enroll in classes at Commonwealth University: Bloomsburg University through the ECE (Early College Experience) program.

Students interested in pursuing dual enrollment must have good attendance, be on track to graduate with their class, have a cumulative grade point average of 85% or better and/or have an 85% or above in all courses taken in the period before dual enrollment begins.

Students wishing to explore dual enrollment should contact their guidance counselor early in order to discuss the possibility of dual enrollment

Keep in mind:

Timing is essential in this process. Speaking with your counselor early can make it much easier for you to find an available college course in your areas of interest. If you are considering dual enrollment, contact your school counselor for an appointment to discuss this opportunity.
