Ella McGlaughlin(SAHS senior) spoke to Mrs. Metzger’s 6th grade math classes today about career readiness opportunities at our high school, coordinated with Mrs. Schaffer-Neitz, and Ella’s involvement at Companion Animal Hospital as a veterinarian assistant intern. She discussed the math connection to the 6th grade curriculum and her progression through our math courses here at SASD. Her future math plans include attending Juniata College entering into their program of emphasis of pre-veterinarian medicine and wildlife biology while playing lacrosse for the Eagles.
