The 28th annual “Operation Safe Stop” on Wednesday, October 23rd was sponsored by the Highway Safety Network and PennDOT. In cooperation with the Selinsgrove School District bus transportation system, the Boroughs children were greeted by Officer Shipman who rode the bus and provided a early Halloween treat to the children as they boarded the bus for school. Chief Bremigen followed the bus watching for violations relating to bus signals. The police are happy to report that there were no violations today. Please continue to be aware of our children’s safety at our bus stops and have a safe holiday season.
