Mr. DiCola is excited to announce the results of this year’s Spelling Bee, where 48 of our brightest students from 6th through 8th grades demonstrated their incredible spelling skills! The competition, held in A103, featured words ranging from elementary to 8th-grade level, culminating in an unforgettable showcase of talent and determination.
The most challenging word of the day, chlorofluorocarbon — defined as “a compound containing carbon, chlorine, and fluorine, formerly used in refrigeration and aerosol propellants” –proved a formidable test for many participants. However, our top spellers rose to the occasion, securing their places as Selinsgrove spelling champions.
