Scholarships for the 2024-2025 School Year For Seniors
- The ABC Keystone’s Merit Shop Training & Research Center Scholarship opportunity is now available. Every year, the Center awards multiple scholarships to individuals seeking to further their education in careers in construction. The 2025-2026 scholarship application window is open. Application forms and instructions can be found at the following website. Applications are due March 7, 2025.
- The First Community Foundation Partnership of PA is the host of MANY scholarships available to SNYDER COUNTY students. Information regarding current opportunities can be viewed here. Scholarship amounts will be announced to the recipients when they receive an award letter in June. All applications are due April 1st, with letters of recommendation due April 15.
- The Society for Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Education Foundation is accepting applications for college scholarships for high school seniors who will be enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program majoring in manufacturing technology, electromechanical technology, engineering, manufacturing processes, computer/IT, robotics/automation or other manufacturing-related disciplines. Award Range: $2,500 – $20,000 (one-time award). Application available here. Application Deadline: Saturday, February 1, 2025

- The Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA will award a minimum of 10 scholarships, totaling $11,500 to graduating high school seniors who have epilepsy/seizure disorder and are going on to post-secondary school. Application must be received by April 7, 2025. For more information Click here

- Every year, the WTS Central Pennsylvania Chapter awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to encourage and support the exceptional women who are pursuing careers in a STEM or transportation-related field. The scholarships are competitive and based on the applicants’ specific goals, academic achievements, and transportation-related activities. All scholarships are open to any person who identifies as female. Interested female students can apply for our WTS Central PA Chapter – Colleen Brown High School Senior Scholarship or any of the national scholarships listed below. Since 2012, WTS Central PA has awarded 50 scholarships totaling over $100,000. In addition, one applicant for each award offered may be recommended for the national scholarship competition. Register here!The U.S. Department of Education (Department) announced that the 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA® form) will be launched through a new process. Starting on October 1, the Department will release the 2025-26 FAFSA form for testing with a limited set of students and institutions. The Department will make the application available to all students on or before December 1.
Scholarships for the 2024-2025 School Year For Juniors

We are pleased to announce that The Pennsylvania Society’s Benjamin Franklin Scholar Award for Pennsylvania public school juniors is currently accepting 2025 submissions! The scholarship offers a first-place prize of $6,000, a second-place prize of $4,000, and a third-place prize of $2,000.

- The Horatio Alger Association seeks to assist junior students who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, strength of character, financial need, a good academic record, commitment to pursue a college education, and a desire to contribute to society.
